What we collect

• Your phone number, used to create your account and sign you in with a one-time SMS code.
• The profile details you choose to add: name, username, about text, profile and cover photos, and optionally an email address.
• The messages, media, statuses, posts and comments you send, so they can be delivered and synced to your devices.
• Basic technical data (IP address, device/browser type) used for security, abuse prevention and to pre-select your country on the sign-in screen.

How we use it

To provide the service, deliver your messages, keep your account secure (verification codes, two-step PIN, bans for abuse), and to improve reliability. We do not sell your personal data.

Third parties

Verification codes are delivered by SMS / email providers. The sign-in screen may ask a public geolocation service which country your IP address belongs to, only to pre-fill the country code.

Your choices

You can edit your profile, control who sees your last seen, photo, about and status in Settings › Privacy, and request account deletion from Settings › Account.
